Inventory and Moving In

The inventory
As part of our comprehensive service to landlords and tenants we arrange an inventory and schedule of condition. Both the inventory and schedule of condition will be agreed by the tenant at the beginning and at the end of the tenancy. Celtic Lettings makes a charge of £50.00 plus vat for this service per property, which is the responsibility of the tenant. This fee covers inventory checks at both check in and check out.

Moving in
Unless otherwise advised, on the day that tenants are due to move in it will be necessary to meet at the property in order to sign the Tenancy Agreement, agree and sign the inventory and schedule of condition and pay the “initial monies”, which are as follows: One months rent in advance plus security deposit, less holding deposit. Keys will not be handed over until Celtic Lettings is in receipt of cleared funds. Payment of initial monies must be in cash or Bankers Draft. Personal cheques will only be accepted if deposited with Celtic Lettings at least 5 clear working days before the tenancy commences.
