Tenant Referencing

It is necessary that references be taken out on all tenants over the age of 18 years who intend to occupy a property.

If it is necessary to reference a guarantor this will be done at an additional cost.

To ensure this vital process is carried out as objectively and thoroughly as possible we use an independent professional referencing company – any fees involved are paid by the tenant.

This process will include full referencing and, providing they can be obtained, various financial references such as current and previous employment confirmation, current lender or previous Landlord reference and a banker’s reference.

As managing agents we take great care in matching the right tenants to the appropriate property, targeting and attracting a regular flow of quality professional applicants.

We will require you to pay us a £150 holding deposit per property prior to taking up references which is non refundable should a negative feedback be received from the referencing company.
